John Benemerito, a co-founder and the Managing Partner at Benemerito Attorneys at Law, is an accomplished attorney licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey. Specializing in Business and Securities Law, John is dedicated to advising small business owners and startup companies. He embarked on his legal journey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, followed by a focused pursuit in Corporate and Securities Law at New York Law School.
Rooted in a family of entrepreneurs, John’s engagement in business began early. He launched a joint venture with his father at just fifteen and successfully managed it alongside his academic and professional endeavors. This early exposure to entrepreneurship cemented his passion for business, leading him to co-found over five diverse businesses to date.
After graduating from law school, John’s desire to support and guide individuals like himself led to the establishment of his own law practice. His expertise and personal experience have made him a valuable ally to hundreds of startups and thousands of entrepreneurs, aiding them in realizing their business aspirations.

Alejandra Gonzalez, a founding figure and the Senior Partner at Benemerito Attorneys at Law, is a New York-licensed attorney with a focus on assisting small business owners and startups in Business and Securities Law.
Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Puerto Rico, Alejandra’s educational journey led her to New York Law School. Here, she honed her expertise in Real Estate and Corporate Law, laying the groundwork for her future career.
Combining her lifelong aspirations to be both an attorney and an entrepreneur, Alejandra co-founded her own law practice upon completing law school. This venture was a fusion of her legal acumen and entrepreneurial drive, realized in partnership with a fellow law school graduate.
Since the inception of her firm, Alejandra has been deeply involved in working with a myriad of startups and small businesses. Kristin is Of Counsel at Benemerito Attorneys at Law and the managing attorney at Grant Attorneys at Law PLLC. Admitted to practice in New York and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, she represents individuals and companies in the areas of business and intellectual property law.
Kristin received her Bachelor of Science from Howard University, where she majored in Chemistry, and she received her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wales. A graduate of New York Law School, she focused her law school education towards learning about issues in business and intellectual property law.
Kristin previously worked as a patent consultant at AltSchool, Inc. – a community of micro-schools using various technologies to streamline the learning and administrative processes. At AltSchool Kristin worked with several software engineering teams through various stages of the patent process. She provided opinions on the patentability of inventions, conducted prior art searches and drafted search reports, drafted and filed patent applications, and responded to office actions.
Kristin gained valuable experience in intellectual property law and licensing while interning at Ladas & Parry LLP and working with The law firm of Spektor & Tsirkin P.C. Between these two intellectual property law firms, she was exposed to a wealth of legal issues in the areas of patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright law.
Kristin is a member of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association, the National Association of Patent Practitioners and she serves on the Board of Directors of the New York Law School Alumni Association.

Angela is Of Counsel to Benemerito Attorneys at Law and handles all of the firm’s Immigration Law matters. Angela first became interested in immigrants’ rights and immigration while attending Goucher College. While there, she and a friend received a Social Justice Award to give greater voice to the experiences of immigrants.
She also developed a strong interest in the history, language, and culture of Russia and the Former Soviet Union. After college, volunteered with underprivileged groups in Yaroslavl, Russia for six weeks. She then went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Slavic and Eurasian Studies from Duke University in 2011.
Recognizing the common intersection of human trafficking and immigration from the Former Soviet Union, she spent a year researching the issue while attending the International University in Moscow for further Russian language study. During and after law school, she advocated for victims of human trafficking through Boston University School of Law’s Human Trafficking Clinic

Timothy Allomong’s law practice represents purchasers, sellers, investors, and developers in the transfer of NYC condos, coops, single and multifamily homes, and commercial property.
Additionally, he handles 1031 exchanges of investment real estate, short sales and foreclosures, REO sales, mortgage finance banking, and commercial leasing. His clients range from first-time starter-home buyers to institutional commercial real estate investors.
